Goodbye Brugge

Well we said our goodbye to Hans this morning and had our final breakfast in this beautiful house that is so quiet you could hear a mouse fart. My opinion of Hans changed, he's not scary at all he is just quiet and serious but kind. I have never liked silence it makes me nervous. At one point while staying their I thought I may have plugged the toilet I was scared to death.I thought surely we would be kicked to to the Belgium curb. I told jim he would have to take the fall for me and that would make up for him making us sleep on the floor the first night. Turned out to be a false alarm. I was relieved .
Brugge was beautiful. The waffles were like a taste of heaven. The frites or fries were no better than anywhere else. ( I better get out of Belgium before any of the people here find out I said that!" ) the mussels which they are also known for we're not great either. The beer on the other hand was a beer drinkers paradise. Last night the kids and I ate at a Turkish kabob place out of the city gate. It was so delicious and cheap. Nothing inside the city gate was inexpensive except amazing beer. I had a falafel wrap with spicy sauce for under 5€ . It was large enough for two but because it was so good I ate it all.
So now we are off to Brussels and then Luxembourg . What adventures await us?
