Travel tips

I decided it will be good to include posts entitled travel tips regularly. This way anyone wanting to plan a trip can look back here for advice. I would live to eventually write a travel guide of some sort for family's who want to travel in Europe on a budget. So anyhow here is my first one.
   1.    Holland is beautiful! I have traveled through Europe and been to many places, and I was surprised that thus may be one of my personal favorites. It's a beautiful country, the people are warm and friendly. If you enjoy bike riding this is the place to come as their are wonderful bike lanes everywhere. I do not personally recommend riding in Amsterdam though.
2.  In holland we had trouble using our credit card and ATM card. Throughout Europe they are getting rid of cards that swipe and using instead some cards that our chipped. This caused us much grief. We even ordered special travel cards from our bank but because they don't have this computer chip we can't use them many places. So I recommend finding a chipped card from a bank at home.
3.  The camp at wassenar , dunriell it's great! Anyone traveling with kids or teenagers will not run out of things to do. There is even an awesome theme park in the camp ground that you get unlimited use of for free. It's filled with roller coasters and a toboggan and even a ropes course and zipline. I highly recommend it and I would stay atleast one week.
4. Eat out a little bit when you first arrive in a new country. The beauty of euro camping is that you can self cater your holiday as the Europeans would call it. But it's fine to see how the locals eat and then imitate it. For instance our first morning I had delicious brown bread with melted Bri,honey and walnuts for breakfast. Something I never think to eat at home. So the next several mornings that's what I made at home in our trailer.
5. Slow down , don't try to see everything! Embrace the simple things.Enjoy the diversity in this wonderful planet.
